Every girl knows who Barbie is! Barbie was introduced at the American Toy Fair in New York City in February of 1959 by Ruth and Eliot Handler, founder of Mattel Toys. The sophisticated look of her introduction gave way to a more natural image in 1961 together with the introduction of her "handsome steady" Ken.
Our Barbie adventure kicked off when Richwell Marketing offered the license to sell Barbie adult line of footwear. Barbie Philippines has been exclusively a children's line 'till now as we launch the Barbie by Shūbizz, Teen’s line of flip-flops, sneakers, and dress shoes very soon!

Our expedition of inspiration took us to the House of Barbie Shanghai, a six-storey multi-level gift shops full of Barbie fashions to furniture where you may even create your own Barbie doll.

Ten Outstanding Young Employees of Marikina (TOYEM) recognizes and honors the city’s young trailblazers. MMA Media Inc. spearheaded this event to tap and empower future leaders of the country. Themed “Vision – Beyond Skill and Competence”, TOYEM recognizes the quality and commitment of the city’s young work force aged 18-38 years old, coming from various sectors of the community such as the academe; civic/religious organizations; communications; printing and publishing; healthcare; local government; manufacturing and fabrication; restaurant/fastfood; shoe factories; and other small and medium scale enterprises. Now on its 11th year, TOYEM’s “Gabi ng Parangal” was held August 27, 6:00 p.m., at the Marikina Convention Center, Plenary Hall.
